  • An amazing place to vacation. Zero problems…..

return trip I was detained for about 30 minutes as they browsed through my suitcase. Other than that a beautiful week in paradise

Many of you will be familiar with the name Derek Logue and Once Fallen. Derek has asked that we share this survey with our supporters. Here is Derek’s message: The fight […]

  • Does anyone know anything about this app or others like it? I’ve come across two others and while one lasted a week before it disappeared off the web, I couldn’t even download the other two. I’d be really […]

    • Sounds scary to me I would leave it alone

      • Why would it sound scary? It’s basically like the registry but for daycares and other places we aren’t allowed to go

        • It is possible that the app is perfectly safe and helpful. But, if we want to get somewhat (understandably perhaps) paranoid, the app could also be used to:
          1. Spy on the user and collect information to be used against the person
          2. Used to track registrants

My fiance’ is wondering about getting married in Belize. I saw in the matrix where Belize is. Y/N as to if I would be turned around. I was turned around in Roatan Honduras a couple of years ago and don’t want to […]

    • That is a risky one. Could go either way. You could take a trip and see what happens beforehand, or change venues to one that does allow registrants to enter.

  • The 2021 Florida Statutes

Does subsection 6 mean airguns are not classified as firearms and thus are a viable means of defense for Florida registrants?

    • Yes. Even according to federal law, a “firearm” is a machine that expels a projectile from a self-contained, explosive, round. So, as a felon in the “land of the free”, one can still have a musket, blunderbuss, or crossbow and not be breaking the law. Air guns would also fall into that category. Buy what you can before they decide to change the law again.

    • I know that in Maryland I was allowed to have a pellet pistol. I of course sold it in preparation of the move.

I know the founder of this site lives in Germany and it’s likely that a few other members do as well. So my area of inquiry seems best directed towards you and others living in Germany.

    I’m trying to find […]

    • There is a plethora of information about the racial purity laws in Nazi Germany and can readily be found online. They began as a set of laws introduced to the public by Hitler at a rally in Nuremberg (henceforth known as the Nuremberg Laws) and are considered the beginning of the end for non-Aryan Germans. Many of these laws are mirrored in SORNA without the slightest hint of irony by the “freedom-loving” American government. As far as police handbooks, I would have no idea where you would find that information.

      • No matter where I look the closest thing I can find to a full word for word copy of the nuremberg laws is a photocopy of a sample of them on Wikipedia and other sites. This is not them in their entirety, nor can it be run through a translator in that format. Maybe Uncle Sam is blocking all viable sources to avoid facing my very question?

  • I just got my new passport and it does not have the identifier. I tried calling the passport office to no avail. I would like to know, if anyone can tell me, what i need to do to get this resolved? Do I reapply […]

    • hey matt- you have to specifically ask for the identifier on a passport. if you renew a passport and don’t send a letter requesting the identifier then you need to renew it again and submit the letter. if you use a passport they will notify you that it will be revoked and that you need to renew it them. its just a question of how pro-active you want to be. a quick google search will bring up the wording for the letter and instructions plus a website that generates a automatic response. good luck. I hope this helps.

    • I had the same thing happen to me. I did, however send a letter with the statement that I was an offender and covered under the Megan Law. and they still sent me a passport without the identifier. I was lucky to actually call and talk to a real person. They told me where I need to send a letter to where I included both mt email and phone number. They called me within 2 weeks. Told me which form to fill out and to send the passport. To them with all that information. I received mt passport WITH the identifier (one page 1) within another couple weeks. Hope this helps.

      • Can you share tha information please? Where do you send the letter? How do you format it?

        Thanks

    • U.S Dept of State New Orleans Passport Center. Call 504-412-7311 and leave a message explaining your situation. I wrote a letter to them and gave them a scanned copy of my passport. They called me back telling me to fill out form 5504 the best you can. You will need to send another photo of yourself again. I also sent them my passport and a separate letter with the Megan’s law statement letter. I would call first because your passport number has a code that tells them where it was processed. So yours could go to a different location than mine.
      Good luck!

You’re supposed to have the marker but its still possible to travel without it. I have been out of the country twice and am yet to get the marker. They’re supposed to send you a letter, but I’m yet to receive mine. The last time I left the country before this time was about two years ago and not once did they send a letter. I even called to ask about it (did not give any personal information) and was told not to worry about it if I hadn’t received a letter yet. Considering I already had a ticket and didn’t have enough time to get a new one with the marker, I used my unmarked one and had zero issues.

  • So I went in today and gave my 21 day notice, after filling out the paperwork, the detective grabbed my passport and said I will be right back. Came back 10 minutes later and said that the passport is not valid […]

    • Hello Michael. I can tell you that until you get an official notice from the State Department notifying you of your passport being invalid, it is still perfectly fine to use. You can use it to leave and then after you’ve gone, you will likely have that notice sent to your last known registered address. When you are in-country, you can fill out a new passport application and visit the consulate to have a new passport created. It’ll take about two weeks or so, but then they will send it to your new address in your new country. Just some food for thought.

      • What are the possibilities of arriving at the airport and it getting denied there? I have never flown internationally so dont know what they check at the airport??

        • Hi Michael,
My husband had a passport with no identifier and was denied to board and he received a few days later a letter that his passport was revoked because there was no identifier and he had to apply for a new one. So when you have your new passport redo your 21 days notice, because the passport number will be different so you cannot do the notice before receiving the passport.
Also in a few months, you will have to ask a visa to go to Europe so leave soon because you can stay 3 months legally without problems coming from USA.

      • Well, they changed their tactic. All registrants must have a passport with an identifier but they do not tell you. If your passport does not have one, they will not send you a letter until you arrived at the airport and they will revoke your passport! They will deny you to board because your passport has no identifier!!! It is very mean what they do! And they know you have to begin again, wait for a new passport, book a flight, give 21 days notice…..

    • I have heard conflicting information. It used to be that your passport would get revoked upon return to the US, but recently I saw posts on ACSOL that someone was turned around at the destination airport. Here is the story that was posted: Source: ACSOL

A registrant and his wife were removed by from a plane they had already boarded in Los Angeles earlier this week. According to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) officials who removed them from the plane, the registrant’s passport had been revoked because it lacked the unique identifier required by the International Megan’s Law (IML).

According to the registrant, he received no notice that his passport had been revoked prior to boarding the flight from Los Angeles to Amsterdam. After the registrant was removed from the plane, the DHS officials demanded that he surrender his passport to them. The registrant complied with that demand and is now required to apply for a new passport.

“Without a passport, the registrant and his wife were unable to celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary with friends in Europe,” stated ACSOL Executive Director Janice Bellucci. “In addition, they have lost the money they paid for their flights as well as for their lodging.”

Although requests have been made of DHS, the agency has so far refused to provide information regarding how or when the registrant was notified that his passport had been revoked. Due to COVID restrictions, it will take the registrant one month or longer to replace his passport.

“Due to this incident, it is highly recommended that registrants covered by the IML who lack a unique identifier in their passports, apply for a new passport with a unique identifier in order to prevent a similar experience,” stated Bellucci. “Registrants with passports that include a unique identifier are still allowed to travel to many countries, including 26 countries in Europe.”

Registrants covered by the IML’s passport requirement include individuals convicted of a sex offense involving a minor (under age 18) and who are required to register in any state. In accordance with the IML, the registrant notified local law enforcement more than 21 days prior to his departure of his overseas travel.

      • Read above, do not travel and try to travel without a passport with an Identifier you will be rejected from the airport right away.

    • I did a little research on this. Apparently LAX is doing criminal checks on everyone, because of the high crime at the airport. I found a case in Oregon of a man trying to flee without 21 day notice, but that person hadn’t registered in months.

    • You need your 21 days notice and a passport identified! Each registrant is closely monitored. It was silly to leave without notice. All registrants emails are monitored so they know when you booked a flight…They monitor phone calls, stalk registrants….Believe me or not, it is the truth!!!!

    • Please read between your lines.
Was this the first time your husband traveled on this passport?
YES after the false conviction case.
      How old was the passport?
      BRANDNEW
Did your husband request the stamp when he applied for the passport the first time?
WHY WILL HE DO THAT? IT WAS NOT REQUIRED. AND IT IS NOT HIS JOB TO TESTIFY AGAINST HIMSELF.
Where exactly did they revoke his passport at the airport?
      SAN FRANCISCO, CA
Was it at the ticket gate, at the International terminal, or was he on the plane already?
AT THE GATE TO BOARD AND THEY REFUSED THE PASSPORT AND SENT HIM BACK HOME AND IT IS AFTERWARD THAT HE RECEIVED A LETTER THAT HIS PASSPORT WAS REVOKED AND HE HAD TO REAPPLY FOR A NEW ONE AND RECEIVED IT WITH AN IDENTIFIER.
      What happened to his passport?
THEY DID NOT TAKE IT BUT IT WAS IMMEDIATELY CANCELED.
THEY WOULD NOT TELL YOU THAT YOU NEED AN IDENTIFIER BECAUSE THEY LIKE TO DRAIN YOUR MONEY THAT YOU LOOSE YOUR FLIGHT, YOUR HOTEL…..
THE AUTHORITY KNOWS PERFECTLY THAT YOU NEED AN IDENTIFIER WHEN HE GOT THE OTHER PASSPORT HE WAS ALREADY ON THE LIST. THEY DO IT ON PURPOSE TO WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY.
Was it confiscated or was he allowed to leave the airport with it?
IT WAS NOT CONFISCATED AND HE WAS ALLOWED TO LEAVE BUT THEY REFUSED TO ALLOW HIM TO USE A WHEEL CHAIR (HE HAD LEG SURGERY). THOSE PEOPLE ARE INHUMAN.
How many days notice did he give for his international travel?
      MORE THAN 21 DAYS.
What airport/state was he flying out of and where was he heading?
      SAN FRANCISCO TO FRANKFURT, GERMANY.

As you can see, there are many facts you can provide that will help people with this issue in the future. With all respects to your situation, there are many other anecdotal accounts of guys traveling without the stamp just fine.
HE IS ONE OF THE MOST HATED BECAUSE HE IS OUTSPOKEN AND HE HAS GOOD REASONS TO BE (IN OUR CASE HE WAS ACCUSED OF SOMETHING HE NEVER DID LIKE MANY PEOPLE ON THE LIST, THE COPS TOLD HIM THEY KNEW HE WAS INNOCENT SO BUT THEY DID NOT LIKE HIM, HE SPENT 5 YEARS IN A JAIL NOT A PRISON WITHOUT ANY TRIAL) AND MAYBE THE PEOPLE YOU ARE MENTIONING ABOVE WERE PLANNING TO GO BACK TO USA!
      Facts are necessary
      YES, I AGREE….
so we can all learn if this is in fact a new tactic, just bad luck, or another means of scaring registrants into not traveling or trying to travel?
WE ARE NOT TRYING TO SCARE PEOPLE, WE ADVISE THEM TO TRAVEL WITH THEIR IDENTIFIER BECAUSE IF NOT IT IS A REASON TO REFUSE THEM TO TRAVEL, WASTE THEIR TIME AND MONEY.
WE ARE IN GERMANY AS YOU KNOW JUSTIN AND WE MUST ALL FIGHT AGAINST INJUSTICE. WE ARE TELLING OUR STORY TO HELP REGISTRANTS TO AVOID THEY LOOSE MONEY AND AVOID DECEPTION. SO NOW, IT IS UP TO THE REGISTRANTS TO READ ADVISE AND TO USE THEM OR NOT. WE JUST DO NOT WANT THAT HAPPENS TO OTHERS.
Regardless, I feel horrible about your situation, the time, money, and planning lost and I hope you can provide more information and some updates. Thank you.
THANK YOU! “we should not judge people before knowing the complete truth”.
“United we stand, divided we fall”.

  • So because March 1st is my state’s usual 1st quarter registry, I had sent them an email to schedule a time to come in and give them the 21-day notice. They called back after scheduling it for tomorrow and the […]

    • Keep your head up and know that you have the option to leave for better life. randomly – similar thing happened- February 08, 2022- I was doing my 90 day registration and told officers I was looking into going to Romania or Germany. The officer looked at me and said “, “why would you want to risk doing that knowing they wont let you in the country?”. I explained after 25 years I wanted to start over and he went on a long speech about its a shame people don’t understand the limitations on their life and what they can do and that if registrants leave for more then 3 days they can no longer live in their house when they come back because of new laws. I told officer I would like to discuss 21 day period to plan for next quarter and was told if you can throw away thousands of dollars on a airline ticket just to get stopped be my guest bring a itinerary once its paid for and he would make a Xerox copy to send to U.S. Marshals. Biggest problem is that for 25 years most of us never thought about leaving the country so its unexpected when we bring it up. But yes i think we have options.

    • Could all be on how you look at it. The police told me the same thing but they were obviously (in my case) coming at it from a standpoint of not wanting me to waste my money on a failed trip; they knew of other registrants being turned away from Mexico.

    • William, some cities, states and county’s have new laws about where you can live and could be that where he lives it is grandfathered in so if he leaves, its like just moving into the area. Fortunately Maryland is not like that.

    • On my 21 day notice, I was told that same thing that Germany as well as all the other countries are going to turn me down and not let me in and I told them that they did not know that as a fact and that I had done my research and that I am going. Period. Exclamation point!

    • Wow, I wished you had that in writing how the Sheriff mentioned that people forced to register don’t know the limitations that are put onto their lives. Yet another proof that the registry is punishment and nothing else. Smith vs Doe keeps saying it is merely administrative, but clearly even law enforcement knows that that’s not true one bit. Hope you will have a better life in Germany. It’s a beautiful country.

  • As a csc offender who was falsely accused, I want to move to Germany for a historical reasons and need to get connections with you who are there and are able to help
