Tier 3 RSO here from Virginia off paper have traveled throughout the USA and recently back from a trip to Italy. My questions are as follows:
1. Has anyone recently immigrated into another country as a RSO?
2. if so, where? And what was the background check? How far back did it go?
3. if your new country has a a registry are you required to be on it?
4. Looking for information on permanent residency and citizenship.
please any and all information will be helpful! mostly looking into Europe but also not ruling out the Caribbean or Belize and Panama.
thank you all in advance!

1. Lots of folks that have joined the community have made their new homes outside of the US as RSOs so it’s definitely a possibility – they have settled all over Europe and some even in Asia!
2. Background checks aren’t really done the same way as one in the US might expect… if you are asked about criminal history, you answer honestly and provide an FBI Identity History check if requested but that’s not in every case.
3. Some countries have registries but none of them require foreigners to be on them; only citizens. Even then, it’s only for violent crimes.
4. Permanent residence and citizenship all have certain requirements depending on the country you intend to live in. They will all have a language and temporary residence/work requirement but it varies from country to country.
