i was able to travel to hong kong and questioned, but was allowed in
They must have changed things. I went June 8th to Hong Kong. It was my third visit. The first 2 times I just went right through immigration. This time I was questioned for awhile then allowed to enter.
I am curious though did any of ya all have a International Megans law thing on your passport and were you required to report your travel plans to police? i am planning on going after I no longer have to register (8 more years) and then I dont have to have the marker on my passport anymore.
Sorry for the extremely late reply but yes the first 2 times I went I had to give my travel plans prior to travel. This last time I did not as I don’t have to register any more. Just have everything ready in case you are questioned such as your plans for the time you are there, where you will stay and your return ticket.
I also wanted to clarify that my conviction is expunged.
