I am a Lifetime SOR for a crime I committed 28 years ago and served 18 years in a Utah State prison for. Was serving life without parole until I earned a law degree and fought my sentence pro se. Sentence overturned and converted to a 1-15 with a corresponding immediate and unexpected release after a trip through Appellate court and back to Utah District for a long fight except the state had an unexpected change of agenda with no notice …breakfast in prison dinner at Little America.

Now living in Utah as a SOR but free of corrections supervision of any kind. But sadly my SOR status is crippling my wife and I’s future together. As an SOR I am AWA barred from sponsoring my Filipina wife to the U.S. on an I-130 Spousal Visa w/o an AWA Waiver which is rare.

My wife found this site via YouTube and has become a fan of the creators. I have joined this site to seek help for my wife and I to relocate to a neutral country where we are both legally and socially welcome to begin our new life together.
