International Travel Matrix Updated 09/12/25
Are you or a loved one a registered sex offender (RSO) in the United States looking for tips on international travel? Are you wondering what countries might be safe to travel to? Perhaps you want to meet with someone but can’t see them in their home country… The international travel matrix is designed exclusively for registered sex offenders to be better informed about their travel plans and avoid costly trip cancellations.
Travel Requirements
All international travelers will require the following:
- A return plane/train ticket (standard entry requirement);
- Housing or living accommodations;
- Money to cover the cost of your stay in the country, and;
- Health insurance (traveler’s is ok) for the duration of your trip.
- Something to keep in mind when traveling as a registered person: the US will do everything in its power to prevent you from having a successful trip! They can do this through their human rights-violating legislation like International Megan’s Law (IML 2016), an add-on to the wildly ineffective Adam Walsh Act (SORNA 2006). The US is also notorious for abusing and diluting the integrity of the Interpol notification network. That is why this international travel matrix is so handy.
- NOTE: Although these are all technical requirements for entry into another country, many countries will forego actually confirming that you meet them.
International Travel Matrix Background
Many thanks to the good folks at RTAG (Registrant Travel Action Group) for developing the original travel matrix. They deserve some credit for the idea and initial entries. We have expanded on the original matrix and transformed it to include every country on Earth. That’s right: we’re going balls to the wall on this one. We need everyone’s help to make it the most complete and comprehensive travel matrix in existence!
Something to keep in mind when viewing the travel matrix: the countries that deny entry to RSOs, but don’t require a visa, do so because:
1. THEY RECEIVE A TRAVEL NOTICE from the US “Angel Watch”, detailing your travel itinerary and alleged crime(s) for which you were put on the sex offender registry, or;
2. Your passport number and identifying personal information has been entered into the INTERPOL GREEN NOTICE database by the US Marshals. This is accessible by all participating INTERPOL member states. This prevents direct travel from an airport in America or even from a third country.
Note: If you believe you are subject to Interpol Green Notice notification, you can contact this law firm for assistance.

Most importantly, we need your help! Please send us some information about any country we have incorrect data about or you may have been to, along with any stories about your trip that you’d like to share!
Freedom of movement is the very essence of our free society. Once we curtail the right to travel, all other rights suffer.
*** Accuracy Notice ***
We work diligently and in good faith to keep this matrix as current as possible. As you can see, this chart is far from complete. We sometimes make mistakes and we will update this as we get more information on country status.
Important Note: This chart is only a guide. It is not a 100% guarantee because of the constant changing of laws around the world. We are not responsible for any inconvenience due to incorrect information.
Please feel free to contact us and let us know of your travels and any difficulties you experience. Also, if you find there is an error with any of the above countries, let us know so we can keep it up-to-date! Safe travels to all!
