I just got back from Italy. I had no issues. I went from Denver to Munich Germany and on to Rome. At the Munich customs going in and out they scanned my passport, read my file and called their supervisor. They also asked me for my airline tickets. It took about 10 extra minutes and they sent me on my way. As usual in Denver at US customs, I…[Read more]

Does anyone know anything about this app or others like it? I’ve come across two others and while one lasted a week before it disappeared off the web, I couldn’t even download the other two. I’d be really […]

Sounds scary to me I would leave it alone
-
Why would it sound scary? It’s basically like the registry but for daycares and other places we aren’t allowed to go
-
It is possible that the app is perfectly safe and helpful. But, if we want to get somewhat (understandably perhaps) paranoid, the app could also be used to:
1. Spy on the user and collect information to be used against the person
2. Used to track registrants

I am considering moving from New Jersey to Kansas. I met a women and she wants me to move out there. She knows my past and accepts it. My problem is parole. In NJ, there is something called parole supervision for […]

My uncle’s a registrant from Kansas. Not entirely familiar with their system myself being from south Dakota but from what I’ve heard, if south Dakota was a 1 on restrictive scale and my current state florida was a 10 I’d put Kansas at about a 7. I know my uncle became homeless and wasn’t allowed to see his daughter. Beyond that ur gonna have to ask a local.
-
I’m registered in Kansas. Kansas is one of the least restrictive states. Once I finished my probation, there were no restrictions for me on where I could go. You can go to state parks and breathe a little easier. If you have kids that are in school, the state has no restrictions. You may still need to let the principal know about your situation and tell them when you would be attending any of your kids school activities. The only catch for Kansas is that you will have to update your registration every 90 days.
Not sure how Kansas would treat you coming from a differentt state but I think you would enjoy it compared to other states. Let me know if you have any other questions. I hope this helps.

The 2021 Florida Statutes
Does subsection 6 mean airguns are not classified as firearms and thus are a viable means of defense for Florida registrants?
-
Yes. Even according to federal law, a “firearm” is a machine that expels a projectile from a self-contained, explosive, round. So, as a felon in the “land of the free”, one can still have a musket, blunderbuss, or crossbow and not be breaking the law. Air guns would also fall into that category. Buy what you can before they decide to change the law again.
-
I know that in Maryland I was allowed to have a pellet pistol. I of course sold it in preparation of the move.

There is a plethora of information about the racial purity laws in Nazi Germany and can readily be found online. They began as a set of laws introduced to the public by Hitler at a rally in Nuremberg (henceforth known as the Nuremberg Laws) and are considered the beginning of the end for non-Aryan Germans. Many of these laws are mirrored in SORNA without the slightest hint of irony by the “freedom-loving” American government. As far as police handbooks, I would have no idea where you would find that information.
-
No matter where I look the closest thing I can find to a full word for word copy of the nuremberg laws is a photocopy of a sample of them on Wikipedia and other sites. This is not them in their entirety, nor can it be run through a translator in that format. Maybe Uncle Sam is blocking all viable sources to avoid facing my very question?

I just got my new passport and it does not have the identifier. I tried calling the passport office to no avail. I would like to know, if anyone can tell me, what i need to do to get this resolved? Do I reapply […]
-
hey matt- you have to specifically ask for the identifier on a passport. if you renew a passport and don’t send a letter requesting the identifier then you need to renew it again and submit the letter. if you use a passport they will notify you that it will be revoked and that you need to renew it them. its just a question of how pro-active you want to be. a quick google search will bring up the wording for the letter and instructions plus a website that generates a automatic response. good luck. I hope this helps.

I had the same thing happen to me. I did, however send a letter with the statement that I was an offender and covered under the Megan Law. and they still sent me a passport without the identifier. I was lucky to actually call and talk to a real person. They told me where I need to send a letter to where I included both mt email and phone number. They called me within 2 weeks. Told me which form to fill out and to send the passport. To them with all that information. I received mt passport WITH the identifier (one page 1) within another couple weeks. Hope this helps.
-
Can you share tha information please? Where do you send the letter? How do you format it?
Thanks

U.S Dept of State New Orleans Passport Center. Call 504-412-7311 and leave a message explaining your situation. I wrote a letter to them and gave them a scanned copy of my passport. They called me back telling me to fill out form 5504 the best you can. You will need to send another photo of yourself again. I also sent them my passport and a separate letter with the Megan’s law statement letter. I would call first because your passport number has a code that tells them where it was processed. So yours could go to a different location than mine.
Good luck! -
You’re supposed to have the marker but its still possible to travel without it. I have been out of the country twice and am yet to get the marker. They’re supposed to send you a letter, but I’m yet to receive mine. The last time I left the country before this time was about two years ago and not once did they send a letter. I even called to ask about it (did not give any personal information) and was told not to worry about it if I hadn’t received a letter yet. Considering I already had a ticket and didn’t have enough time to get a new one with the marker, I used my unmarked one and had zero issues.
