Sex Offender Safety Zone Mobile App: SO Zones

Does anyone know anything about this app or others like it? I’ve come across two others and while one lasted a week before it disappeared off the web, I couldn’t even download the other two. I’d be really interested if anyone has come across anything similar.

      Why would it sound scary? It’s basically like the registry but for daycares and other places we aren’t allowed to go

        It is possible that the app is perfectly safe and helpful. But, if we want to get somewhat (understandably perhaps) paranoid, the app could also be used to:
        1. Spy on the user and collect information to be used against the person
        2. Used to track registrants

      That sounds like a scam. Who tries to screw people who are already so screwed.
