I wonder what happens if you enter Schengen in a country like Italy, and then travel to Greece from there. Greece is Schengen as well and I would assume/hope that means there is no internal border check from flights to Greece from Italy.

I also know that it is common for hotels and such to make copies of one’s passport.

Is there any identifying markers that indicate to look at page 27 for the text?

Do you have any details about your Turkey rejection? Does your passport have the indicator? Did your passport have 6 months or less until it expired? Did you give 21 day notice?
