I’m interested in moving to Spain. What countries are people interested in moving too?

    • I would love to go to Spain. Germany is another thought but it gets cold there.

    • My guess is that I won’t be able to get a judge to let me go. I would move to Spain in a heart beat if I could. Germany is more expensive to live. I’m still trying to figure out who will let me into there country.

    • I am definitely moving to Germany just as soon as travel is open back up.

      • I lived in Thailand for 7 yrs.Had a wonderful job and a great family. Wife passed , but am still in touch and supported by her family and all my friends. Would do anything to get back. Working with immigration lawyer. Have relatives south of Münich, so that is an option as well. Just any place other than here in U.S.!

        • Thanks for writing me. It’s always good to meet new people. I have been to Thailand many times when I was in the U.S. Navy. Sorry to hear about your wife passing! I don’t know if an immigration lawyer can help you get back to Thailand, because the problem is customs once you land in Thailand. Anyway, I do hope you can get back. These stupid laws here are the reason why I want to get out of here, and start my life somewhere else, before I truly get too old to enjoy life. Take care!

          • I was Navy as well . EOD. I first went to Thailand as a volunteer recovery diver after Tsunami hit. Fell in love with the people and the culture. Finally felt at home somewhere. I have letters from people in Thailand attested to my character. Attorney says that goes a long way when applying for a waiver. They can look at my case as an individual rather than lumping me in with everyone else. Prior employment and yrs of residence helps, too. I am doing everything possible. He said things move slow with these cases . People need to be verified and interviewed. Myself as well. Can take years, but worth it. 🙏🏼

            • I was stationed in Panama city, FL. and I worked with divers, frogmen, and EOD. Great bunch of guys! I have a girlfriend in the Philippines, but it’s just impossible to go there. I once wrote every politician there telling them I have an idea for offenders going there. I asked them why don’t they charge a fee when an offender arrives, and put them in the custody of the people they are meeting and staying with. Then hold them responsible if they do anything stupid. Only one politician responded, and she told me that they cannot change the law. Oh well, I will find a way for me and my girlfriend to be together one day. Take care!!!

    • I am looking @ Spain, Portugal, The Kingdom of The Netherlands and possibly Central America. In addition, if you are Jewish, Israel is fairly easy to immigrate.
